The school building was designed by Mr. Andrew Daws, Chief Architect from the UK with inputs on international best practices from renowned educator and school director Allan Andersen. In our world, play is important. We play to have fun, to learn and to explore. Play involves and engages our students in solving tasks in their own way. The core of our efforts is promoting academic excellence and deep learning. To achieve this, we have designed a curriculum where learning is a collaborative process. In our opinion, deep learning involves exchanging opinions, solving problems and creating ideas. We apply a number of approaches to teach our students to fall in love with learning for life. For each student, we identify and nurture their potential to grow into someone who will make a difference in India and in the world. “Exclusive We Lead Curriculum”: An academically rigorous curriculum, integrated into the national & international curricula aimed at promoting intellectual, aesthetic, creative, socio-emotional and physical development. The “We Lead” curriculum is followed from preschool till grade 8. From grade 9 students have the option of opting either for the national or international curriculum. The curriculum lays emphasis on in-depth learning, relevance and application of the subject as well as conceptual clarity. It enables children to thrive in a rapidly changing world by equipping them with 21st century competencies in a planned, systematic manner. Geeta Jayanth is an experienced educator with over 24 years of experience in various fields of education. She holds three Master's degrees, including an MBA in Education Leadership from a Finnish University. Her expertise includes leadership, school administration, college counselling, and school pedagogy across various curricula such as IB, Cambridge, and ICSE. She has served on the Global Advisory Board of IE Business School, Spain, and the University of St Andrews, Scotland. As an authorized school evaluation leader for IB and the Council of International Schools, she has conducted school authorization visits worldwide. She has presented at many international forums such as the IB Asia Pacific conference, Cambridge forums, and British Council conference. Her dedication and contribution to education and college counselling have earned her the Lifetime Achievement Award. Before joining CBS, she served as the head of two International schools in Bangalore. Geeta's passion for education and children is evident in her belief that 'Teach is to Touch Lives Forever.' She is an ardent advocate of sustainable practices and development and has worked closely with the UN office in India to incorporate UN SDGs in school education.
