Took admission for 2nd grade in school. felt the fees little high compared to avarage schools. But school has some extra facilities which felt compensating fees structure..Soo ok with fees untill now as now school is offline and things are actually taking place nad not just in virtual mode.

Hi, there! I'm a single mother of two wonderful sons & it's almost impossible to manage things all by myself. I was facing much difficulty during their school admission & finding the best one. Well, I knew about Orchids & it's reputation in the city. But I saw their portal & was surprised to actually see proof of what I had heard. I could tell by the portal of the school that they know what they are doing.
Smooth admission process is very rare. This school has really been helpful about this. As a parent, it's really convenient to approach the school.
The biggest worry after the first lockdown was school fees. My wife & I had lost our jobs. So, everything looked difficult. Luckily, there was a strategy Orchids introduced. My son has never studied willingly. Especially Math's. Never ever!! And I was worried if this international school will tolerate this behavior. What if my son gets suspended or something? I also don't get time to always check his homework & all. But, it is so good to know that homework is not such a big deal over here. Students are given only as much as they can comfortably do. Plus the homework is useful for them. It's not just about memorizing things over here. It's about learning, which is great. I really appreciate that as a parent.

One thing I would like to say is that we get detailed explanation by school staff they give answer of every single question , which I would say is a remarkable thing and I am very happy with safety of the school that make me feel safe for my kid.
I think orchid is the providing best facilities to children . This school has an organized course collection and best team of teachers form NIT-IIT. They give personal attention to kids for better understanding. So basically I am very happy with facilities of orchid.
I was very confused about which school to admit my son to. He is very interested in all the extracurricular activities. Orchids offered many. But the fees were high, so I was a little scared. And then I saw the portal and the fee structure they provide. Then I was relieved. Because there is a specific explanation of why the fees are so high. That is very helpful & the office staff also explains these things if you go & ask about it.
My colleagues mentioned Orchids often. I enrolled my child there. But I couldn't see any growth in him for a while. So I had to raise this issue to the management. They started giving my child the much needed attention. Finally, their training is working. I can see consistent growth in my child now.
During the Annual Day, my child participated in a dance performance, but due to a rush, he was lost on his way back to us. We looked everywhere for him but couldn't find him; however, when we approached the CCTV room, I found my child again.
At first we thought that the school might be a money minded one. Because when once we were late in submitting our fees they called us again and again. That please submit the fee etc. But after an year we realized that it is policy of the school and they have to maintain the fees of the facilities they are providing and also of the coaches and they really are good at providing each type of facility.
Orientation session held before the normal classes begin were really useful. My twins were very scared to go to school but after the session they are eager to go to school. The activities specially spoon race really helped them build their confidence. Even I enjoyed the spoon race for parents. They go to make many new friends.
I am in 10th std in USA now. Orchid days are the most memorable days of my life. From kindergarten to 7th std I studied there only before relocating to US. It was below average in my communication skills and English vocabulary. I was never confident to face the audience. But teachers always encouraged me and slowly I started expressing myself in various stages. Only because of that motivation I got admission in US. But i really miss my teachers.
My child is studious and is always engaged in different experiments and is very eager to learn new things, but she never gets A+ in class, so when I discussed this to her teacher, she told me that they never give A+ scores and want their students to be encouraged to learn more and to value practical learning as well.
My kid is good at his studies, but he is lazy too, so I was worried about his physical fitness. But Orchid school is encouraging my child to do physical activities. They are taking children outside, which is important for children's growth as it becomes a medium for fun for children also.
I somehow got to know about the misbehavior committed by students at school, as well as the disciplinary action taken against them by their teachers and staff, which was mandatory in order to maintain school discipline.
I've arranged a 4-5-day family vacation during the curriculum. Teachers at school declined our request for permission and directed us to the principal, who was unavailable despite numerous visits to the school. So we attempted reaching out to other higher authorities and were given permission.
As a responsible citizen of the city and as a parent I gave an advice to the school that they can organize the activities like plantation, cleanliness drive etc. Which will help students to learn the importance of these things. On which the school agreed and respected my advice.
My child has faced an issue with the submission of the fees in the school, because it came out to be a long process. First had to fill the form then it will go in the office and then you have to go to the fee counter which at a distance from the office. And we raised this issue to the management on which they said it's a smooth process when submitting the fee online and also that if child would have gone directly to the fee counter. But he went first to the class teacher then to office and that's why it took a longer time then usual.
