Amity International School, Sector-46, Gurgaon founded by Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan in the year 2003, is a co-educational English medium public school, providing education from Class I to Secondary level. The day boarding school is affiliated to the CBSE board.

With an enrolment of approximately 3500 students, the school is part of the chain of Amity International Schools that function under the guidance of Dr. (Mrs.) Amita Chauhan, Chairperson, Amity Group of Schools and RBEF. Curriculum

Amity International School, Gurgaon-46, firmly believes in the principle of inducing educational, social, cultural and spiritual awakening amongst students. The junior school has a well designed curriculum to meet the needs of modern times. The children indulge in multifarious activities throughout the year.

The middle school curriculum is based on the modern educational approach, which marks a shift from teaching to learning. The focus is on equipping the students with essential skills and giving them confidence to use them effectively in real life situations.

In the senior wing, the focus is on making learning more meaningful. The pedagogy adopted for classroom learning is ‘Child Centered’ which is interactive, experimental and facilitative.

Activities

Visual Art – The school offers compulsory art education till grade X. Students are introduced to different ways of making sculptures, including carving, modeling, construction and rolling. Through the creative process, the students create wonders with clay by thumping, smashing and squishing it.

Music – The musical talent of students is explored and honed in various genres of Indian and Western Music. Training in vocal as well as instrumental music forms part of the students’ repertoire. 

Dance – Students are introduced to a wide spectrum of dance forms, ranging from classical dance, Indian folk dance to foot tapping variations of the Western form, right from junior school level. 

Theatre – Theatre is celebrated as a distinguished art form in the school where it presents a stimulating blend of cultural diversity, intellectual rigour and professional experience for students.
