In 1941 Birla Balika Vidyapeeth began with just about 40 students and 5 teachers helmed under the visionary Leadership and acumen of Smt. Deviki Amma.The inception of Birla Balika Vidyapeeth as a girls\u2019 school, under the aegis of Birla Education Trust,<\/a> was a miracle in itself as it spearheaded a virtual revolution in school education. The profound reason for its existence was \u2013 Schools for girls did not exist then.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The school follows the curriculum of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) <\/a>with English as the medium of instruction. The curriculum is divided into primary, middle, secondary and senior secondary. As per CBSE<\/a> rules, CCE (Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation) pattern is followed which has two summative tests and four formative tests interspersed with a lot of activities for a ceaseless academic growth. The school boasts of a first-class faculty of competent, efficient and trained educators who are ever-ready to render universal values and in-depth knowledge of different subjects to cater to multiple intelligences in the class through the use of appropriate teaching methods.
