DSE has branches at the prominent locations of Attapur, Banjara Hills and Manikonda and provides schooling to a collective strength of over 3000 pupils, with the assistance of nearly 300 academic and non-teaching staff. Evolution and adaptation are the hall marks of true education but the outbreak of the Corona pandemic in March 2020 has changed this perception forever! It has heralded a sea-change in the way we look at life and the world. Education today has become online! Online classes are a true reflection of the resilience of man. They are a measure of his innovation and adaptability. Started with apprehension and uncertainty, today one truly understands the mammoth influence online classes wield over academics. We are proud to state that DSE has been one of the pioneer institutions to accept and forge ahead with online teaching. What started out as mere classroom lessons to impart academic learning quickly spread to involve the school assembly, celebrations, activities like yoga, arts, music, dance and even sports! Online teaching has become the life-line between school and students. With every passing day, something new is learnt and imbibed through online classes. We have learnt to conduct and participate in online intra-school, inter-school and inter- house competitions and what's more, to win lots of prizes too! DSE has evolved brilliantly to accept the changing scenario and to become super-efficient at them! It is no mean task, since attracting the students' attention, braving the very understandable apprehensions of parents in these uncertain times and overcoming the challenge of the numerous distractions that electronic devices offer, calls for a Herculean effort! And involving in all this while bearing in mind the Vision and Mission of the school, makes it near impossible. Realizing the need to boost the morale of the teaching staff in these trying times, DSE rose to the occasion by taking several staff welfare measures and retaining the existing ones in spite of the trying times. But ,we at DSE ,are unaware of and refuse to accept the term 'give-up’ in attaining our goals! The school strives to impart value-based education to bring about a transformation in the hearts of students so that they become noble citizens, able leaders and torch bearers of our glorious heritage. And in our effort to achieve this, we have partnered with the Indian Development Foundation (IDF) to raise funds and become involved in humane activities. We are proud to assert that the school management has donated Rs 10,00,000 to the Prime Minister's Care Fund to mitigate the Corona crisis! DSE feels proud to stride further and go hand in hand keeping the spirit of the ‘Joy of Learning’ intact. DSE will ever be ready to tackle any kind of a problem and emerge out of it triumphantly!
