The School is affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) New Delhi for ICSE ( X th Std.) and ISC ( XII the std) for Science, Arts and Commerce streams. It is a complete co-educational, English Medium School from Nursery to Class XII. The school with more than 3500 students in enrollment, is run by the Giribala Memorial Trust. The schools session is from April to March. Admission form for next session is available from the month of November each year. Students of Maria's Day School are exempted from admission procedure in class XI. They are promoted to class XI and offered stream provisionally on the basis of previous examination. Final admission to any student in class XI is offered only after publication of Council's result and after due approval from the Council for eligibility. The standard of performance in ICSE/ISC is pretty good and in comparison to the best in the country.
