Safety, Security & Hygiene | Kodaikanal International School (KIS) is not only a K-12 school, but also an international, residential community. KIS is a home, away from home. Living on a ‘sky-island’ 7000 feet above sea level offers a chance for our students and staff to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. Kodaikanal is a warm town where our students are frequently involved in serving the local community. The safety of our students is taken very seriously, through a solid security network across all our campuses. The school’s security policy enables KIS security staff to adhere with fairness and consistency. The policy outlines procedures to be followed during emergencies on KIS properties. Community life at KIS is an avenue for students and staff to support and encourage one another, providing for a memorable experience |
