To train the students for the INMUN sessions school wise MOCK sessions are conducted. A special initiative taken by the NITI Ayog India, Atal Tinkering Lab has been set up in the school which provides a vision to ‘Cultivate one Million children in India as Neoteric Innovators’, Atal Innovation Mission is establishing Atal Tinkering Laboratories (ATLs) in schools across India. The objective of this scheme is to foster curiosity, creativity and imagination in young minds; and inculcate skills such as design mindset, computational thinking, adaptive learning, physical computing etc. ATL is a work space where young minds can give shape to their ideas through hands on do-it-yourself mode; and learn innovation skills. The students get a chance to work with tools and equipment to understand the concepts of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). ATL contains educational and learning ‘do it yourself’ kits and equipment on – science, electronics, robotics, open source microcontroller boards, sensors and 3D printers and computers. Other desirable facilities include meeting rooms and video conferencing facility. We instill in our students values like compassion, kind heartedness and generosity. Students pool in resources like clothes, books, toys, eatables and other stuff and donate it to the needy on important occasion like Christmas, founder’s day. Further to imbibe values visits to old age homes, orphanages are also organized. At a very young age itself students are taught about the vital role plants play in our eco system to help sustain human life. To conserve the environment students form groups and initiate corrective action. As an institution our vision for sports in the long term is to provide thorough training to the young generation to ensure maximum participation and substantiate victory in the Olympic Games.
