About School: Cambridge Foundation School, Rajouri Garden was established on 4th July 1966 by the Cambridge Foundation Society with an aim to provide “Excellence in Education and All round Development”. It all started in a residential building in Rajouri Garden, when a small nursery and kindergarten was started in the home of Mrs Sheila Verma and her husband the late Mr Brem Dutt Verma under the guidance of late Shri BS Murthy, former Minister for Health and Family Planning, Govt. of India. The school was recognised up to the middle level in 1969. Milestones in the growth of physical plant of CFS were added with the foundation stone being laid by Ms. Sheila Verma along with the school children and the dedicated staff on 2 nd October 1977. The school was shifted to its present premises at Rajouri Garden extension New Delhi 27 on April 29, 1978. The School has a sprawling campus of 4 acres.Gradually CFS took shape and burst upon the educational scenario in west Delhi with vibrancy and freshness. It attracted the local community from the very start and it grew rapidly. It was upgraded to the senior level in 1979. Under the dynamic leadership of Ms. Sheila Verma and Late Shri BD Verma, the institution acquired its full fledged Senior Secondary School status affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, Affiliation No. 2730051. It is with their vision that we have now moved four decades ahead. They have been our guiding light by providing a platform of enrichment by institutionalizing a highly qualified faculty and the most loving students. Today the school is housed in 4 acre campus. The 3 storeyed structure has separate wings for different sections and departments. Its warm and safe ambience is very conducive to learning. The school receives immense support from its parent community and staff. The collaborative effort of all is responsible for the progress of our students which facilitates the growth of the school.
