Punjab Public School- Creating Global Leaders

Punjab Public School aims to turn the young energetic children into global citizens and leaders of tomorrow.Punjab Public School strives to enrich the young learners with vocational skills and take the school to never reached heights before.

History

The school was established in 1960 with a motive to create an environment quality public education to the children of the ex-servicemen, serving personnel of the defence forces and civilians. The guiding force in the opening of this school was Sardar Partap Singh Kairon, the then Chief Minister of Punjab. The school was formally inaugurated by Dr Rajendra Prasad, President of India in April 1961. The school in its initial stages was financed by the Post-war Services Reconstruction Fund and the Punjab Government made buildings of ex-Nabha rulers (the Secretariat and the Guest House) and land available to the school and also gave substantial financial help.

Academics

The school is affiliated to Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE).

The school has its own counselling cell in the school. Experts also visit the school on a regular basis to help the students decide and choose the right stream and career taking into consideration their interests and abilities. Students are also helped to figure out the employment opportunities and related aspects.

Infrastructure

Situated on a vast lush green 50 acre land, Punjab Public School is located in Nabha, Punjab. 

It has all modern day facilities like gym, swimming pool, horse riding other sports and games in the well equipped campus. 

Activities

Cultural activities play a very important role in the overall development of a child. Students are motivated to take part in debates, declamations, quizzes, theatre, music, dance etc.

House shows give each student an opportunity to showcase his/her talent in acting, singing, music, dance and much more. Our students run the major functions / events. Teams are regularly sent out for competitions giving a boost to their confidence. Senior students train their juniors for the same.

Writer at Edustoke Working with the promoters directly, Rohit setup and expanded Career Launchers operations in Bangalore. He then joined Educomp to setup and manage Educomp fledging sales team in south India and was instrumental in reorganising the Smart class operations. He has great knowledge of conceptualising & operating the Customer Connect Initiative of Smartclass business, a captive BPO managing Customer Lifecycle, renewals, Revenue assurance, Lead generation, Cross Sell & Upsell as well as CSAT for the entire Smart class business
