St. Mary's Public School was established in 1983 by the Jacobite Syrian Orthodox community to provide education, primarily, to its own children. The Management, however, has been catering equally to the basic education requirements of children of other communities as well. Driven by the ideals of growth, enlightenment and freedom, the school has helped several batches of students pass out the ICSE in flying colours in the last two decades. The School, today, is entrusted with laying a strong foundation of basic education for 950 students. St. Mary’s Public School is managed and governed by Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Society comprising a team of efficient and successful individuals with excellent academic track-record. The day to day administration is under the able supervision of the Principal.
