Grassroots Global School* (GGS) - a boutique international school, initially established in 2011 as a Reggio inspired preschool, went into becoming an IB World School© in 2019. The founders as catalysts, believed that educational change was imperative, despite their historical underpinnings within the educational community. Different educational programs were researched and hitherto brought into Chennai for the first time, in-order to meet individual learner diversity and needs.The School’s early years program is a symbiotic outcome between the Reggio Emilia approach, constructivist theories of learning, child development, and evidence-based practices from modern day educational psychology literature.Today, GGS as an IB-PYP World School ©, despite being in its nascent stage, can proudly boast of its success as a reflection of its learners.
