St. Thomas' School, founded in 1930 by Miss Helen Jerwood as a Diocesan School, is permanently recognised and prepares students for the All India Senior School Certificate Examination. St. Thomas' School, Dwarka is an extension of the parent school, and established in the April, 2006. We are a progressive school and seek to provide the most effective education to every student who enters our doors in search of learning. We believe in developing a caring community, exercising concern and respect for the welfare of others and emphasizing the over-riding importance of good Human relations, based upon sensitivity, tolerance and good-will.We encourage students to appreciate the virtues of collaboration Foster habits of responsibility and self-discipline Promote initiative, endeavour and the exercise of individual judgement.We project the school as the servant of the community and to accept its appropriate share of responsibility for equipping each child to finalise his/her own niche in his/her occupation and in society. We inculcate values that serve as guiding principles for better citizens of tomorrow.Our school motto ‘Light to Lighten’ in an elaborate manner emphasizes on Psalm 119:105 “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path”. It enlightens every student’s path and every little feet gets directed towards the lighted word of God that guides all students to frame a progressive school and enter its doors in search of learning.
