D.C. Model School was established as a co-educational English medium school in Ferozpur Cantt in the year 1947. By the relentless efforts of great visionary, Late Sh. M.R. It has the distinction of being the first Model School of the erstwhile composite Punjab including the present day Himachal Pradesh and Haryana.
