Modern Vidya Niketan Society established in 1983 started its first group of schools, MVN, Sector 17 under the dynamic leadership of Late Shri Gopal Sharma, a great visionary and noted educationist. Sh. Gopal Sharma rose to dizzying heights from a very humble background as a true son of the soil and launched a drive for the unexplored vistas of “Quality Education for All”. It was by virtue of his magnetic personality, charisma and iron will power that he actualized his vision of a Senior Secondary School, an imposing educational institution. Spread over 2.25 acres of land, this school ushered in an era of quality education. Subsequently, in 2000, MVN Aravalli Hills was born. Spread across a lush green valley of the Aravalli Hills and occupying an area of 8 acres, it was a mammoth task to erect such an architectural marvel.MVN never wavered from its mission of quality education. Nowhere is this better demonstrated than when Session 2001-02 saw 23 students striding into various prestigious IITs of the nation, 24 students made it to IIT in 2002-03 followed by 27 proud IITians in 2003-04, 20 IITians in 2004-05, 20 in 2005-06 and a record breaking 41 students gaining admission into IIT in 2006-07 as well as the 2007-08 sessions. The 2008-09 session saw 140 MVNites making it to IITs, the highest number from any single institution in India so far. Nitin Jain has done his Alma Mater proud by topping the 2009 All India Merit list of IIT-JEE & AIEEE as well, an achievement for which he will always be remembered in the annals of our outstanding record.Our MVNites further continued his legacy as we believe that even impossible says ‘I am possible’. 2010-11 saw the dawn beginning with 43 students in IIT followed by 69 students in 2011-12. Arpit Agarwal was another landmark potential as he trodded the path paved by Nitin Jain by topping the prestigious IJEE exam. MVN is the only school in India to have given IIT-JEE topper twice. 2012-13 saw 70 students qualifying JEE-Advanced with Top AIR-23 of Rakshak Satsangi followed by 65 students in 2013-14 to join various IIT’s while 3 students joined AIIMS, a prestigious medical institute. In the following year 2014-15 a whopping number of 102 students were selected to attend the much renowned IIT’s with Mayank Gupta scoring the highest marks in Delhi NCR. Samarth Kapoor stood at rank 1 in UPTU while 7 students joined AIIMS.The year 2015-16 saw 103 students selected to join various IIT’s with 9 students qualifying for AIIMS.The session 2016-17 saw a tremendous achievements of 126 MVNites making a majestic march to IIT’s with 6 students going to AIIMS. Rachit stood at rank 76 in IIT- JEE Advanced.In the academic session 2017-18, 89 students got selected in the IIT JEE(Advanced) Exam.Ayush Garg secured All India Rank of 35 and Jatin Goel secured All India Rank 64. 5 students got selected in the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) Delhi.Time is testimony to the magnificent fact that Modern Vidya Niketan beats its own records with each passing year, challenging itself to scale newer heights and traverse newer horizons.Today, under the leadership of Mr. Varun Sharma and Mrs. Kanta Sharma, MVN is recognized for its commitment to quality education and shaping young minds for success in life. MVN offers effective and holistic solutions in the field of education. To immortalize the yearning passion and dream of Sir Gopal Sharma, who always wanted to hitch the educational wagon to the stars by establishing an Engineering College, MVN society ventured into higher education by starting two technical institutes, Gopal Sharma Modern Vidya Niketan Institute of Engineering & Technology and Les Filles MVN Institute of Engineering & Technology on NH-2, at Palwal, Haryana in 2008. The year 2012 saw the establishment of MVN University at Palwal (Haryana) MVN University is committed to academic excellence and intellectual growth. This is achieved by igniting the passion for success, promoting critical thinking and helping to build confidence. The university forms a critical link between academia and industry. While placements are excellent, that is not the ultimate goal. We train students to make meaningful contributions in whichever domain they are employed in.
