History

Founded in 1985 its one of the schools established under Bharatiya Vidya Bhawan founded by Dr. K.M. Munshi. Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan has its centres spread all over the country and abroad. It is known for its constitutional institutions, its various publications and educational programmes.
The Bhavan stands for the reintegration of Indian Culture. In a world falling to pieces under the impact of an amoral technological avalanche, it tries to hold fast to the fundamental values for which our culture stands - Rita, Satya, Yagna and Tapas.

The Principal Smt Pratima Sharma echoes the same thoughts in her message and says “Our life is the sum total of all our activities and we ought to learn to see it in that perspective and learn to value it. This is the reason we must not waste it, which, in practical terms means that we ought not to waste time but use every moment of it. And let me add, relaxing and recreation are not wastage of time. These aspects are also necessary, but in proper proportion. The real enemy of time is laziness and procrastination. Avoid them at all costs, and you will find that you are always ahead of your schedules.”

Academics

Offering education from classes Pre-nursery to 12th, Bharatiya Vidya Bhawan Vidyashram is affiliated to CBSE.
The children learn to Identify , Classify, Segregate, and Assimilate in natural surroundings to enhance their innate qualities of creativity. Efforts are made to inculcate in them Positive Attitude, Good Habits and Self-Motivation.
The morning assembly begins with the Bhavan’s Prayer. It is followed by a short talk which helps the children to develop their presentation skills. Infrastructure
Located in Jaipur in a vast campus of 18 acres, the school is equipped with all modern amenities. Jaipur is the capital of India’s Rajasthan state. It evokes the royal family that once ruled the region.It has -

Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's Vidyashram provides Boarding House Facility to students. The Boarding House comprises four houses. Satybhama for girls from Std. III to XII, Vinoba House for boys from Std. III to VIII, Aurobindo House for boys Std. IX and XI and Vivekananda House for boys of Std. X and XII. All the four houses are looked after by their respective House Masters and Wardens. There are six bed dormitories in all three Houses meant for boys whereas two or three bedded rooms in Houses for girls. The Houses also have recreation room comprising TV, DVD Player, Indoor Games.
Boarders are given compulsory coaching in swimming (IX to XII) and skating (III to VIII) during morning hours. In evening they are trained in different sports like Handball, Basketball, Football, Hockey, Tennis, Table Tennis, Badminton. On Sunday and public holidays activities like painting, model making, Greeting card making, Dramatics, Declamation, Debate and Creative writing are organized. Boarders are also taken out for movies, trekking etc. to enhance their overall development.
All four Houses along with their respective House Masters and Wardens join for Breakfast, Lunch, Snacks and Dinner in Dining Hall. They enjoy purely vegetarian diet with melodious music. Weekly menu is prepared by a committee comprising one Senior student from each house, House Masters and Mess In-charge. Medical Facility
The Boarding House provides medical room facility for both boys and girls. They have separate medical room for boys and girls. They are looked after by a Nurse who is there for twenty four hours. Doctors visit on alternate days.
To inculcate gardening skills in Boarders the Hostel maintains a kitchen garden which is taken care of and maintained by boarders themselves. Vegetables grown in kitchen garden are used in Hostel mess.
The Students are supervised by House Masters and Wardens. Remedial Classes are also organized by subject experts during school hours or in the evenings.
PTMs are conducted to acquaint parents with the progress of their child.
Till date BVB Vidyashram Boarding House has produced a number of IITians, CAs, Entrepreneurs, Engineers and Doctors. Hostel Result
The result of the hostel students for classes X & XII has been outstanding. Although away from home ,yet these students were able to balance their academics as well as sports in a wonderful way. The school has facilities for various games like Swimming, Table Tennis, Lawn Tennis, Hockey, Volleyball, Basketball, Cricket and Skating, Squash, Indoor Basketball, Indoor Skating Ring, Indoor Squash Court, Badminton. The school also has Synthetic Tennis Court. Experienced Coaches impart professional training in these sports. Students are also groomed for Athletics, Kho-Kho and Gymnastics. Admission Process
School calendar and other information will be available in the students almanac given to students at the time of admission. Admission Procedure / Admission Test and Interview

1. Students will subsequently appear for the test/interaction on the dates given by the school office.
2. Names of the qualified students will be displayed on the school notice board as well as on website
3. The application form should be submitted at school reception.

Documents required for admission

• The proof of date of birth from the Municipality Council.
• A copy of the marksheet of the qualifying (previous) class.
• Transfer Certificate issued by the previous school countersigned by local DEO/CBSE office from class two and above (for Interstate Transfers).
