Gamadia Girls' High School (where it stands today) was established in 1917. Its governing body has been the Parsee Girls' School Association which was started in the year 1858. Our school formerly named the Chandadwadi School, was situated at Chandanwadi , Princess Street right from its inception in 1858. But for want of suitable premises, for the growing number off parsee girls in the school, Mr. Nowrosji Gamudia - A visionary philanthrophist, contributed wholly and entirely to the cost of the construction of the present buiding of our school, in memory of his wife Bai Maneckbai. Our school includes the subject of Home Science at the SSC level. It also houses a well equiped state-of-the-art laboratory for the subject of science, an AV room and a Computer laboratory. Computer Education is imparted to our girls from Std. III
