"Pune Police Public school is an English medium school under the management of Symbiosis, and Pune Citizens' Police Foundation (PCPF), affiliated to the SSC board, imparting education from Nursery to Std X, started in the year 2003. PPPS was the brain child of then the Police Commissioner of Pune, Shri A.N.Roy in the year 2003. He wanted an English medium school for the police personnel's children at affordable rates, thus came up the KG section of the PPPS. The Pune Police Public School started on the 14th of June 2003. The School is affiliated to The Maharashtra State Board and presently houses classes from Std I to Std X. Total strength in the academic year 2013-14 is 1244. The Pune Police Public school is an English medium School under the management of Symbiosis. A project of the Pune Citizens Police Foundation, it is the first project of its kind in India and now this project has being replicated in places like Nasik, Thane and Nagpur. The Pune Police Public School attracts 50% police children and 50% children of Pune citizens and this itself constitutes a fine example of Symbiotic association."
