Life in Springfield hostel means a whole panorama of experiences that span from making ‘friends for life’, to gaining the confidence to face life independently. At Springfield, the hostel is a home away from home, where children develop the ‘confidence to be independent’.
Each hostel is under the charge of a Warden and a matron. There are separate hostels for boys and girls,Junior and senior students.
At Springfield, caring and understanding support staff including housekeepers, matrons, aayas and maintenance staff, wardens and of course the principal and teachers to guide and pay special attention to the boarding students.
Hostel medical facilities:The school has well-equipped five-bedded Infirmary to address the medical problems of the students. Round-the-clock emergency medical facility is available at the Infirmary fostering a sense of safety and care. Qualified doctors visit regularly for comprehensive check-up and expert advice on any serious and communicable disease and are ably assisted by the school health officer and a trained assistant who are on call 24 hours a day. In case of emergency, the students are admitted to a modern multi specialty hospital.
The school also has a counsellor who helps the students on stress management, emotional issues and other age related problems.
