The School is affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi, an all-India Board. The School has classes from VIto XII. The academic year begins in April and the Final Examinations are conducted in March of the following year.English is the medium of instruction throughout the School. Hindi holds a place of very high importance inthe curriculum, and every effort is made to ensure that each girl reaches a high standard in the language.
In 1957, an English lady, Miss H. S. Oliphant, inspired by the aim to create an equal educational platform for young Indian women in independent India, acquired a nawab&rsquo:s small estate in Dehradun to give shape to her dream.
The 12 acre all girls residential campus is situated in the serene hills of Dehradun, Uttarakhand.

Students have a plethora of activities at the campus.
These include basketball, hockey, swimming, badminton, lawn tennis, athletics, table tennis, karate, shooting and aerobics. The basketball team has won numerous tournaments over the years and represented Uttrakhand at the national level.
