"Maharani Gayatri Devi Girls’ School, the first public school in India for girls, today has a formidable reputation.The School is located in the heart of the city of Jaipur in Rajasthan, it attracts pupils from all parts of the country and abroad. In 1950, MGD became a center for the Cambridge Examination for Jaipur.
