Expert Comment :The Sisters of Charity is an international congregation founded in Italy by St. Bartolomea Capitanio on the 21st of November in the year 1832 with a dream to do good to the neighbour and bring glory to God. St. Vincenza Gerosa was her first companion who offered her life to God in this Institute to realize the dream, after which many young girls followed in their footsteps. The first batch of four young Italian sisters came to India on the 17th of March 1860.

The school was founded in 1830 by Alexander Duff, who came to Calcutta as the first missionary of the Church of Scotland to India. Therefore, its curriculum does not hamper the progress of children and their opportunities to discover their potential. Even though it has 40 students in a class, enough individual attention is given to each of the students.

It has decent infrastructure necessary for the teaching-learning transaction, and also an envrionment that invigorates the spirit of hardwork and excellence in the children.

Expert Comment :Saraswat Kshatriya Vidyalaya has classes up to class 4 and It offers a nurturing environment for the tiny tots to shine in, and their aim is to realize the innate potential of a child. It has good infrastructure and colourful surroundings..

Expert Comment :Tantia High School provides a homely atmosphere for its students who learn to inspire and become responsible citizens of tomorrow, along with academic excellence. It does not charge high tuition as well.

Expert Comment :This trust is century old .It has been running a school successfully under WBCHSE(West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education )for more than 100 years. The college under MAKAUT has been running since 2006 and chumming industry professionals ,who are well placed in today's time .This trust also runs another educational Institute ,The Gujarati institute of Management & Technology which is running distance courses MCOM, Masters in Applied Mathematics and Master in Environmental Science affiliated under Vidyasagar University.

Expert Comment :Loreto Day School Sealdah was inaugurated on August 1, 1857, under the principalship of Sister Mary Catherine Cantopher. In 1902, the school relocated to its present site donated by the Archbishop of Calcutta. Mother M. Martina Wilson and Sr. Evangelista Considine being sent to Loreto Day School Sealdah, the sisters travelling to and from Loreto House daily by 'gharry', a horse-drawn cab or carriage.
