History

Founded  in 1998 by Mr BK Birla and Mrs Sarala Birla, BK Birla Centre for Education among the reputed boarding schools in Maharashtra that facilitates all-round development of its students. The educational institute began with 75 students and 10 teachers for Class IV to VII.

Gradually, the school grew and the first batch of Class X took the public examination in 2000-01. In 2007, our students took our school to even further heights when they found mention on the Merit List of the CBSE Examination.

Academics

BK Birla Centre for Education is an English medium co-educational residential school affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi and follows the CBSE/NCERT syllabus. The school has implemented the scheme of continuous and comprehensive evaluation as primed and geared up by the CBSE.

Infrastructure

Situated amidst the scenic terrain of Pune, the school offers world-class residential facilities. Spread over 60 acres of land offers a world-class residential school that imparts well-rounded learning to students. The school has five hostel blocks, which includes the girl’s hostel — Banyan House. Each block is a two-storeyed structure housing dormitories, residential flats, common rooms and a study room.
