Kothari International School (KIS), Noida was established in 2005 by the Sharda Mansukhlal Kothari Charitable trust. KIS is a day boarding school catering to students from kindergarten to class XII and is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). There are plans to offer Cambridge International Examinations, UK’s IGCSE and AS/A level exams in secondary and senior secondary school respectively.

As a day boarding school, it provides time for self-study and limits ‘homework,’ offering the students ‘bagless education’ and a variety of extracurricular activities.

The school offers air conditioned classrooms, meals at school, and modern infrastructure for the arts, sports and academics. The campus is spread across 8 acres, and hosts a wide range of facilities including an amphitheatre, swimming pool and greenery.

KIS is affiliated to the CBSE and offers education from kindergarden to class XII.

Pre-schoolers learn in the specially designed Play School block; children participate in a variety of activities according to the Play School Plan.

The curriculum for all classes is designed to encourage students to develop skills of reasoning, problem solving and creative thinking, while learning the essential concepts of each subject. Collaborative learning, hands-on learning and research are encouraged.

Special education teachers assess and help students with learning disabilities and behavioural problems.

Activities such as dance and music, dramatics, public speaking, information technology, creative writing, environment and science are encouraged. Sports include athletics, skating, swimming, tennis, cricket, football, table tennis, yoga, hockey, basketball and volleyball.
