Accommodation Detail | The Academy’s residences include facilities to accommodate both students and teachers. Our residences house boarding students requiring accommodation as well as those participating in international exchanges between the Aga Khan Academy Hyderabad and other Academies and schools. |

Hostel Medical Facilities | The Health and Wellness Centre has a resident doctor assisted by two nurses. The main criterion of the wellness centre is the development of a comprehensive health programme, including liaison with local specialist doctors for routine health check-ups and emergencies. |

Building Infrastructure | The campus has been specially designed by renowned architects and is purpose built. Our facilities include the following academic and resource areas: • subject and age-specific classrooms • well-equipped science and computer laboratories • library and resource centres • rooms for the fine arts, music and dance, including individual practice booths and a music recording area. The Commons building houses the dining hall and an array of spaces for school activities. It is designed to be the hub of student activity, serving as the Academy’s main space for major school functions, including music and drama performances, and public lectures. Our sports facilities are extensive and include: • swimming and diving pools • sports fields, for example for soccer, hockey and athletics • cricket pitch • tennis and squash courts • athletics centre for aerobics, dance and fitness. |

Dr. Geoffrey Fisher is an eminent educator, a British and Australian citizen, and currently serving his fifth year at the Aga Khan Academy Hyderabad as Head of Academy. With 24 years’ school leadership experience running national and international schools on 6 continents, Geoffrey has held leadership positions in prestigious schools in Scotland, England, Egypt, Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Netherlands and twice in India. Professionally, his profile is defined by a Masters of Science from Melbourne University; an advanced diploma in educational management; and a doctorate in school improvement from University of Bath UK. Geoffrey’s profile as a leader of global standing is evidenced by his memberships of numerous professional associations and education organisations: IBO Heads Association since 1995; AHISA, Association of Heads of Independent Schools of Australia, of which he was the South Australian Chair between 2003 and 2005; NECIS, North Europe Council of International Schools, since 2011 and AISH, Association of International School Heads.
