"Kanya Gurukul Senior Secondary School is a residential school imparting education to rural girls for classes I to XII. It was established by Amar Shaheed Bhagat Phool Singh Ji in 1936 to educate rural girls according to Vedic tradition. The main objective of this school was to establish all round development, upliftment and empowerment of women along with Indian traditional values. After his assassination his legacy and philosophy was continued by his daughter Padam Shri Subhashini Devi.Kanya Gurukul Senior Secondary School which was established with only three girl students and now has approximately 2000 students on roll.
